Compliance and confidentiality are critical to providing the foundation for our client relationships and business to thrive.

Compliance and confidentiality are central to all our business activities, embedded in our ISQ foundations values through an explicit compliance system. It drove us to become the first accountancy company in Japan to attain ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems.

Our Compliance System

To ensure the rigorous implementation of our compliance system, we have two complementary systems in place, an Education System and an Internal Whistleblowing System.

Education System

We provide all partners and employees with continuous education on compliance to facilitate deeper awareness and understanding of what is required, and how to take steps if they become aware of inappropriate activities.

Internal Whistleblowing System

We have a dedicated contact window in place to enable anyone inside the company to disclose information in strict confidentiality. We provide consultation for all employees to ensure early detection of compliance-related problems, appropriately address any problems that are discovered, and put the systems in place to prevent them from recurring in the future.

ISO certification for ISMS

In February 2006, ASA became the first company in the Japanese financial accounting industry to receive ISO/IEC27001:2005 ISMS (Information Security Management Systems) certification. Since our establishment, ASA has implemented comprehensive information security measures to ensure the security and confidentially of all our clients data, both digital and physical, and this certification is recognition that we meet the highest international standards.

Given the rapid change in the dynamic and interconnected world we live and work in, we have an ongoing commitment to reviewing and upgrading our information security policies and systems.
